Approval of Cass Sunstein
« on: September 15, 2009, 02:42:27 PM »
On Friday, the Democratic controlled Senate approved Cass Sunstein as the Czar for Regulatory affairs. This ultra-left wing extremist, a friend of Obama, is sworn to abolish hunting, seize firearms, and allow animals to sue humans in a court of law. He is the most extreme anti-hunting radical ever to hold a federal position. This man must be stopped at all costs. Every member of Hunt-WA needs to write our two Senators and express our extreme displeasure with their vote. He threatens to end a $76 billion dollar industry, infringe on our constitutional rights, and end hundreds of years of hunting traditions. We should be flaming angry!  Time to Stop the Madness people. Wake up.
Warning! Do not elect politicians who don't support the 2nd Amendment as the Constitutional framers intended - There are no Collective Rights in the Bill of Rights. America is about Individual Freedoms, not collectivism!

I understand your anger and am right there with you, but if he has already been approved what good will a letter do? :dunno:

I totally agree with the disappointment....but I would bet most anything both our senators voted for him....the only option I can see is new senators at the next election....

What it could do; is to remind our beloved senators that we are still disappointed with them, that we are still paying attention to what they are doing, and that we are vigilant in our displeasure with them. It will be a continual reminder that they are under our watchful eye. It cannot hurt.

huntnphool: I have made it clear to the office of the President and to our Senators that I am very disappointed in their vote and that I'll remember this next time they run for re-election. I also let them know that any attempt to violate my 2nd Amendment rights or interfere with our hunting rights will be met with a fire storm of oppositon, the likes of which they have never seen before.
If they want a revolution of unparalled proportions mess with our gun rights and see what happens. We need to strike a little fear in their hearts. Screw with the 2nd Amendment and it will trigger the Nuclear Option! This is not Australia, we just don't lie down and let this happen. We are free citizens, not subjects.
