This is going to sound really dumb so please be gentle! I have never shed hunted and do not see the purpose. My dad always told me to look at them but leave them where they lie. So what do you do with them after you take them home?
Hunt em, Kill em, Eat em. Do not hunt em if you aren't going to eat em.

I just collect them, handle them, day dream...repeat year in, year out.  I just love antlers.  They are fascinating in every respect.

plus its a real good excuse to get out and cover ground in the woods. learn alot shed hunting

thats funny buck wild have you hear of long arming :chuckle: never seen it done with sheds  :chuckle:

that is so cool to have that many matching sheds. i have one giant set that i plan to mount when i get the money and find the right cape. i have one from him the year before and the matching set the next year. the deer of my dreams "for a bench leg" :chuckle:
