He'd be a shooter if he wasn't  your pet    ;)

Is that considered a low fence buck?   :chuckle:
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

They are not really pets....they can come and go as they please but choose not to. The story is that last year the game dept. had to shoot him because he went into rut, jumped over the fence and was harassing people in town...... "supposedly" that was what happened to him.

I noticed that he disappeared last fall. the doe is still there every day though.

I figured that somebody decided to whack him last rifle season.

funny thing is, it's a whitey doe and a muley buck.

I can't see the pics here at work, but I think I know these deer.  I posted a thread last year named "Muley-whitetail cross in the making?".  I'll bet it's the same pair.  Hanging out in the little pasture together just outside of town, right?  I haven't seen him this year either.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Actually, I was wrong, he had the exact same rack last year.  Here he is last August (2009).
