The Fury showed up today
« on: January 20, 2011, 04:23:32 PM »
I have been playing with it off and on for a few hours now. I am really happy with it so far. It has the volume that I could not get from my xr6. Don't get me wrong the xr6 was a good caller for me. But this new fury rocks! I love the new remote as well. I still have a few things to learn with it. I have to play with the presets and get that part worked out. But everything else is pretty strait forward. I love that you can customize the remote to work how you want it to. Its got a ton of features and I am happy I decided to upgrade. I am sure it will serve me well. I put 86 sounds on there to play with, but i have about 8 or so sounds that i really like. I put a few new sounds on there to see if they might produce around here.

Thanks to Scott and Jared at foxpro

Great choice of callers , it will serve you well . Just remember keep that volume down , if the wind is blowing use the higher frequency sounds such as rodent distress, the high pitches carry better in wind .

Yes i have , that country is so much diffrent then what i call . Curt and i used to call togethere a lot , have not been calling with him in a few years now, i sure do miss sharing a stand with him , he and i just kinda clicked .
That woodpecker is a real producer , i have called many coyotes with that sound .
I'm sure you ll find some of your own favorites in time.
have fun with the caller and keep us posted on your success.
a couple of tips for you , use the front speaker only when using distress sounds it will not effect the range or quality of sound but will save on batteries .
play around with the foxfade( both speaker on )  when using combo sounds such a coyote and rabbit , you can produce sounds no coyote has ever heard , it makes for a great tool for call shy and educated coyotes . play with it and you ll see what I'm talking about .
use only NIMH batteries and you ll see allot better function from remote and caller especially in real cold weather . Have fun !!!!
