Heck I don't know what they are, that's why I'm asking!   

But yeah I do think the yellow ones are some type of finch, just don't know what kind. They sure do go through a lot of bird seed in a day!

Actually, American Goldfinch (Carduelis tristis) is the yellow one according to my bird book.  Can't choose between the House, Purple, or Cassin's Finch on the other

Goldfinch is right, but the other bird is a Rose Finch, not a Purple one. You were mighty close though.
