Cilantro Lime Tacos
« on: May 07, 2011, 12:53:59 AM »
I use chicken, but am going to try deer/elk this fall if the gods shine on me...

1 big bunch of cilantro
5 Limes
Meat...

Slice meat in 1/2" strips and chop up cilantro.  Put in ziplock bag and place bag on counter open and start squeezing 1/2 limes into bag.  When lime juice is all squeezed out, throw lime rhind into bag.  Keep going until all limes are juiced.  Seal bag and place in fridge for 4 or 5 hours to marinate.  Get grill going, and a nice low even heat is achieved.  Put strips of meat on grill and cook until cooked through.
Use some corn tortilla's and some avacado and tomato, and sour cream if you desire, and these will be the best taco's you have ever eaten...I like to use poppy seed dressing for topping, but if you can find the marie's cilantro lime dressing, its even better!!!
