walking in locked gates

time to vent.............well me and my huntin partner decided to walk in a gated off area...we got in back about a mile and what do we hear...a damn truck coming in from the other direction...the idiot just drives by real slow with a smile on his face...i felt like puttin a arrow in his tire...i put in the time and effort to try and find an elk and this happens...why do some *censored* people have to ruin it by going around the gates

perhaps it was a disable hunter? which could recieve a key from the state to be in there.

That is true about the disabled hunter.  My brother has no right leg and he gets one.

there is some weyerhauser ground over there where there is a locked gate on one end and on the other end there is no gate...I made that mistake as well thought I found a good walk in then had trucks go by so grabbed the map and explored all the other points of entry and discovered why people were just driving in.  And on some green diamond land there were people with keys who could drive in on the few gates that didnt get thrown open during deer.

I was huntin down by pe ell today...all of weycos  land is closed to public access around here

Pe Ell? Well then, it was probably a Weyerhaeuser employee. Apparently in that area the Weyerhaeuser employees are allowed to drive in and hunt behind the gates.

if you dont know whos land ur on, how do u know if its all locked up? hunting a state with so many hunters and on the west side its just gonna happen. not everyone plays by the rules. or maybe disabled hunter? maybe u should have gone back more than a mile

Does not even have to be a gate that I am behind and it is disappointing when a truck comes up a road I have spent good time on.  I hear your rant...
