Seriously....................I'll have to put some real thought into that next season. I've got a few points built up......maybe put in for something..........could be a real possibility.

I got an elk chubby. I rented a trailer the other day. Without my partner going in on it this year...WOW, pricey! I'm thinking about equipment, maintenance, clothing issues, shooting a lot. Dreaming about it. I was ready a month ago. I may stroke out before we get there.

Just drove pass the herd in North Bend, at least 50 elk in the field behind the middle school. Had to stop and pull out the bino's. Saw a lot of young bulls and spikes! Really feelin the itch!

Yep! I've been down with the fever for a couple of months. Somebody needs to make a Bull elk pic and section it into 180 pieces. Each day you shade in a day. That's what we did in the service. Short timers calendar! 'Course, we had a pic of a different persuasion we pencil shaded in each day  Bull.

The wife and I were making some of our homemade spaghetti sauce the other night.  She was cooking up the store bought hamburger meat with this melancholy look on her face.  I asked her if everything was alright.  She replied "elk season needs to hurry up and get here and you need to shoot one so we can make REAL spaghetti sauce"

Ya, I got the fever

I was shakin' yesterday, I had to pull out a couple 6x6's and hold them for a while. You know, kinda like, " Moe, Larry, cheese, Moe, Larry, cheese. No! Limburger, limburger ". It was tough there for awhile!  :chuckle: Bull
