Good thing my self image is so strong right!

Looking forward to the weekend already. Wife wants to get out on the boat. I'm thinking a mid afternoon start....soak a few pots.........run back into Everett for dinner on the water......back out to pull some pots and watch the sun go down. My kind of date night!

Better late than never, this is the wife and I's sunday catch, took about an hour.  Not two full limits, but enough for dinner!

Some nice ones.............how was the Mukilteo launch? Sunday was a bit windy and nasty to be out on that point.

We dove from shore, left the boat at home.  Vis was horrible, the sunshine has made an algae bloom and you can only see about 3 feet.

Anyone heading out for crab this Sat evening? Looks like I'll be floating around Hat soaking a few pots.

Dropping pots on Friday night and picking up EARLY Sat before work to do a crab boil for the crew.  May head back out Saturday evening if I have time and can get one more person with a crab card and a couple bucks for fuel...

You bringing the wifey?

Probably not...........date night kind of fell through. I'm thinking the brother in law and I with maybe my boy. Let him drift around for flounder while the pots soak. I hear a nice little flat fish chopped up adds a little spice to bait.

If anyone is out today in area 8-2 how about a report. I'm planning on crabbing tomorrow and will be focusing on around Hat. it has been pretty good to me and even better to Skillet. Speaking of which....Skillet, how about a report on here or via text tomorrow am when you pull your pots. My plan is to head out late morning, soak some gear, pull a few pots, the pick up my son and bro in law at the dock and add two pots to the mix. Keep on crabbing, throw in a longer soak to run in for fish and chips...finish the day out with three limits. I'm planning on hitting the same area.

I'll see what I can do as far as a report from the water.

Turkey legs with some fish parts have been what's working for me.

Same here. We add herring, cat food, try and keep a variety of scent. Also been really cutting into the meat and removing most of the skin from the turkey/chicken.
