GROUSE: preferred method to hunt ?

How do you like to get your grouse on?

It does not matter to me... sitting on a limb, on the ground, flying... whether I am actively hunting them, or hiking or deer hunting, or whatever...  Grouse is good eats, and will blow a head off one whenever and however I can during the season.

If we do, I am unaware... we used to be able to knock 6-10 in the head with sticks and have us something different for dinner when we hunted in Montana ......

I don't see road hunting as an option?  That's the only way I hunt, on my way in and out of elk or deer hunting.

I'll take em any way I can, but I prefer shootin them on the ground, off of a stump, out of a tree, etc.

I prefer to walk old logging grades and old unpassable roads for them, but will take them from the road too.

Anymore, I do not want to shoot any of them as I want my kids to get them.
