I was thinking of buying a little better one is all ....I have some bear video where the bears are over 300 yrds and they come in really clear ...I need to round up some of my bear footage .... Just I am really tight mouthed on my bear hunting grounds and some locals might figure me out
Im liking that panosonic with the 21 optical and 400 bucks , My canon hf10 is only 12 power optical and could really use that 21.
careful your not using the the digital zoom aand stay with the optical..my sony is 10x optical and will only film in that mode

Maybe the thread title should be changed to best video camera on a budget because there is no Panasonic camera that compares to the Red cameras.
