Mt. Adams nect weekend
«

Next weekend a friend and I are headed to Mt. Adams. Hope to make it to the summit after spending the night at the lunch counter. Pretty excited...been working out and feel I'm in the best shape I've been in in a while. I haven't been able to get out and excersize this week because my wife is out of town for work all week so I'm playing Mr. Mom. Been waiting till the kid goes to bed then put my pack on with about 60 pounds in it and get on the elliptical for an hour. I think we've got everything lined up pretty well but if anyone's got any input or advice I'm all ears.

You can order your climbing pass in advance so you don't have to stop by the forest circus office. Saves you a trip in to town. Also, get there real early to get a parking spot. It can almost double your hiking distance if you are late on a busy weekend.
But most of all have fun and take lots of pics.

We are Climbing the first week in August 3rd and 4th. Was up last weekend in the area still lots of snow down into the trees, might take a little longer thru the lower section than normal. And definitely get there early for parking..

Great job! You should share some of those photos you emailed me of your trip. They were pretty good.
