Finding the toughest broadhead out there....
« on: July 16, 2012, 04:54:13 PM »
I know I am a nut case  :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: But since we all have this thing about what broadhead is the best I think it is time to find out ... The only problem I have is getting all the different broadheads to perform such a test ... I have some Wasp - muzzies and a few old satelite heads ... So what I am thinking is if I can get a few guys to donate one broadhead of their choice I am willing to buy a 1ft sq of bullet proof glass which is 1 1/4 inches thick ..... do I have any takers  ;) :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: and I will video every move we make when completing this test ...actually we can get some of you guys from silver arrow in MT Vernon to witness or even participate  8) I think it will be really interresting ....Do Not You  :dunno: :chuckle:

When I still had my faulty bowtech (which went to scrapper as bowtech would not replace it) I shot a metal horse trailer at 40 yards with a muzzy 100gr.  The tip was slightly blunted and the ics arrow shattered at rear but broadhead was intact.  Pretty tuff. :chuckle:
MAGA!  Again..

question Drock.  so when your thunderhead fell apart, were you using those cheap axis arrows with those cheap internal nocks?   :dunno:
cause thats the only time i have seen it where the blades where not able to get tight enough.  internal nocks are junk!!  :stirthepot:   not Thunderheads
