Cool hunt4ever.   It would be neat to know.    There has been a lot of mining and stuff up there.  The fact it looks built up like it is would also make me believe that it was something to do with that.

It might be privately owned, but still a bad idea to steal wood unless you got permission.

There is something about old barns and wood buildings that intrigues me.
One rainy afternoon while we were on vacation at Fisherman's Cove resort in Curlew, I picked up the book titled "Ghost towns of Washinton state". We spent all day driving around Torodo, Bodie, Chesaw,  Molsen etc...
We had a fantastic time checking out the ruins and all the buildings! This is stuff people drive past every day and never know the history and stories that ate associated with that falling down building on the hill.

If you ever get the chance take a road trip and checkout all these ghost towns. If you like history and great stories, you will love this.

That looks like a 3HP McCormick Deering that's seen better days... does that still have a flat belt pulley on the other side?

I certainly hope you know what you are doing, because if you are taking artifacts from any type of public land, or private land without permission, your actions would be illegal, immoral, unethical and self-absorbed.  In other words, you would be stealing.

We can all read the post. I'm sure the same message could have been delivered a bit more diplomatically guys. Can't say it wouldn't hit a nerve if it was me on the receiving end.
