PETA and the HSUS want to use deceptive advertising and lies to end our hunting privileges. That's why we need to move our representatives to make them our rights. Once they're our rights, they can't take them away.

This is not a difficult fight if you look at it logically. Most people do not want to become vegans. They like their hamburgers and hotdogs. Most Americans like meat, period! But, if you were to show them how the animals that these items were made from were raised, they'd be uncomfortable. But, they'd still eat them anyway. Show them a commercial with Sarah McLaughlin singing and poor doggies being mistreated, and they still won't become vegans.

Here's the logic that 95% of Americans will listen to. Hunters treat the animals they eat the best of any. We improve their wild habitat. We pay for their care by our state and federal agencies (something the PETAs and HSUSs of the world do NOT), and they live "free-range" until we harvest them for our families. Not only that, but hunting and gathering has been part of our make-up for 2.6 million years. So why try to deny that we should do it? The answer is DON'T!

Whether or not people hunt or even support hunting, most of them eat meat. You can convince these people that hunting is better than grocery stores using simple logic and humane reasoning. You'll never convince the wackos from HSUS or PETA because their goal is simple: convince everyone on the planet to become a vegan.

Now, who's hill is the bigger one to climb? I think it's the wackos.

Start this conversation with your state reps now. Appeal to their sense of logic and lay it out for them. Let them know that hunting is statistically safer than baseball, football, soccer, and golf. Let them know that the choice isn't between hunting and not hunting. The choice is between the most responsible harvest of animals for meat, or choosing the vegan lifestyle. This isn't much of a choice for almost all Americans. Get it going today!
