Once again I really appreciate everyone's support towards my family and I.  It really helped.  It still hurts, but I realize now that life goes on and so must I, so all I can do is live my life in a way that would make Dad proud; as some of you have said.  Thanks again everyone.  Now bring on the elk!

Sorry I missed this earlier. I hope you are doing ok. I lost my dad 10 years ago, and it's still hard to believe. He was my best friend, and he died in my arms. At least I was there with him to the end. He taught me to be a man, now I am attempting to do the same with my boy. Cherish his memory, and think of him often.
