Zeiss conquest in the same price range as Leopold.
Would I be left wanting if I purchased a Redfield (made by Leupold)? I want a 50 rather than the 40 for light gathering capabilities in low light situations so that where I will stand firm. I do not have the coin to drop $1k on a scope as the custom rifle is costing me enough . Good optics are key, this I know, but just wanted a few opinions and for them I thank you all.

The Nikon Monarch or Leupold should be just fine. I wouldn't go with anything less.
And really no reason for BDC reticles...... If you can't hit it with a standard scope what's the point of shooting....
