Satellite photos?
« on: August 23, 2012, 08:57:01 AM »
Anyone know a source, other than Google Earth, for satellite photos of potential hunting areas?

I'm going to be on Prince of Wales island this November, but the regions where I'm going to be are not covered well at all by Google Earth (clouds over some of it and poor resolution in others).

Are there any other sources for photos? I'd love to be able to "scout" the area before I got there. Thanks in advance.

you could try flashearth.com, it seems to have better resolution in some areas.

Thanks for the suggestion denali. Unfortunately, looks like flashearth.com has the same limitations that Google Earth does... damn.

I find Google Maps better than Google Earth.
