My first elk!!!

Yeah you did thats spooky. really those bulls were right there huh wow thats awesome, well im pretty sure they are all pushed out of there now i started going in deeper as people started filling in there. Oh and after we talked remember we said we were going to go down in that one strip of timber by the creek? well we called in a big true spike down there :bash:haha
Oh and haha they will find out just how easy it is when they go out by there self without you next year.lol Yeah my buddy left that wednesday he had to work but we are going to be back down there friday till the end of the season to try and get him one.

After we all walked up the hill, and we split to the left down that triangle road. There was 3 other bulls in that group within 70 yards.....
Wouldnt be my first choice, but if I was in need of a quick hunt..

Shot my first one last year - he shot me a dirty look, gave me the bird, then tucked into a cannonball and laughed as he rolled 300 yards straight downhill before he died.  And I thought I was already in the bottom when I shot him
