Well fishing was not what I expected. According to the fish checkers the commercials have been netting everyday but today. They checked way less than a fish per boat. We got 1 so I guess we did well. Fished out along the west side of the bar then crossed channel to picnic point. only saw 1 other boat with a fish. Yuck, it looks like the next 2 days will long days of trolling hoping for 1 fish. Thanks a lot!

We have not seen any nets in Edmonds and the last few days have been two man limits in very little time. For the derby it might be worth a strole south, its not that long in the boat.

Damn! I shoulda bought a derby ticket! Nailed a 14 lber this morning

  Holy crap Singleshot, I'll say you should have bought a derby ticket. We ended up weighing in 2 - 9# fish and  7.78 # fish. We limited the boat, 6, but fishing was far from hot. Banged one about every 45 min's. Back at tomorrow on my boat with my son and GF. I think we'll do a little better. I like where and how I fish a little better than my friend did today. Still, it was great day on the water with 2 very good people.
