2010 muzzle loader bull
« on: September 17, 2012, 08:40:43 PM »
2010 Observatory muzzle loader tag. I shot this bull on the 7th day of a 10 day hunt at 46 yards. He scored 366 2/8 gross after drying. Even with a complete pass through both lungs he went 150 yards without dropping any blood,  shot was mid body and he only blead on the inside. Great hunt with lots of excitement.

Alway like to ask, thanks. I started with the lead powerbelts. Never had much luck with them. Once they switched us to the copper/etc bullets. They became a better choice. Oh and welcome to the site!

There are some nice animals in the Observatory area.  Called in a few nice bulls.
That's a monster...nice bull.

I'm guessing you have a tag for this unit? Rifle or muzzle loader

Welcome to the site. Bagging a monster like that, you can probably contribute a lot to those of us who are always looking for tips and education. Thanks for sharing.
