debate at the lunch table

today at the lunch table someone asked if we had the shot on a cougar and wolf, at the same time and could only take one, which would we take?
now i know wolves mess with the dear and elk population real bad and understand the situation. but i cant help wanting to take the cougar as a trophy then trying for the moving shot on the wolf (knowing that i would most likely miss). so my question is what would the guys on hunting-washington.com do?

i have killed some cougs so i would pick the wolf especially if its one of those big ass wolves, which kind do we have here in washington, i know there are differant kinds, do we have the big ones or the little ones.... sorry for the iggnorant question

I'd take the cat because wolves aren't legal to shoot yet, and I'd like to try eating the cat but wouldn't eat wolf. :twocents:

The couple I have seen down in the southeast have been huge apparently all the wheatfield fed deer are great for growing huge wolves.  I wonder how long it will be until they come up with a way to measure a trophy wolf.

when it does happen and we can whack the piss outta wolves i am sure they will score them like cats and bears with skull measurements, atleast i assume thats how they would score it....
