Wow between this thread and the other. The wolves are catching hell today. I am so going to miss this site while in camp.

Wolves didn't kill these animals, somebody else killed these animals!

No sir, those wolves are harmless!  :chuckle:

Bearpaw, you know it was Aliens....  stop teasing the poor wittle defenseless funloving carefree wolf...     :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Wolves kill bear hound in Bayfield County

Sept. 21, 2012

The Department of Natural Resources confirmed that wolves killed a bear hound on Tuesday in Bayfield County.

The hound was hunting in the Town of Bell. The wolves are with the Siskiwit Lake pack.

In keeping with its wolf depredation protocol, the DNR issued an announcement of the incident. The agency said hunters should be aware of the potential conflict and exercise caution in the area.

It's the sixth wolf kill of a hunting dog in 2012, according to DNR records.

Michigan's wolves are coming back -- and costing state nearly $10,000 in lost livestock

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota paid out a record $154,136 to residents whose livestock or pets were killed by wolves in the past year, part of a gradual upward trend also seen in Wisconsin and Michigan — all states where the gray wolf came off the endangered list in January.

Wolves kill woman in Alaska and its not the wolves fault?

Please read the comments on this news story;
 http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100312/us_n

Now some of the regulars here may remember I said it was just a matter of time till a wolf killed a human again in the USA and made the news. It has. Yet the public comments have a larger percentage more concerned about the wolves that that poor lady.

So I ask you what in the hell will it take for the wolf lovers to understand wolves aren’t loving kind creatures like a Disney show?

The point here people is they want to bring back high populations of wolves in the lower 48 and have already started. Do YOU want to have wolves near your home? Would you want to be killed by one? Its just a matter of time until this happens in wolf recovery areas in the lower 48.

In Anchorage we have so many bears in the city people are being attacked every year. We have wolves come into towns every year. We have had people attacked by wolves in the Anchorage area. Not the wilderness. This is just an example of what can happen. That is why I asked this question to see if any understood. I see some don’t. They killed off the wolves in the lower 48 because of the threat wolves are to people. Some one will be killed, maybe a child, all because of the wolf recovery program. Again; it’s a matter of time.

Washington in the future: more wolves, bigger losses, pretty simple...  :chuckle:

B.C. ranchers estimate wolf attacks on livestock cost $15 million a year

B.C. Cattleman’s Association calls on province to thin the wolf population in some areas

Large packs of wolves are feasting on the province’s cattle in alarming numbers, according to ranchers, who claim that mortality rates of cows and calves have doubled over the past year.

The B.C. Cattlemen’s Association estimates the industry is losing up to $15 million a year because of wolf attacks and is calling for a “thinning” of the wolf population in hard hit areas such as the Peace River and Cariboo regions.

The real sad thing is that the wolf lovers would say that she deserved to die because she was torturing those poor crabs   :'(
