Well i just got started and assumed no way they would be legal here if they aren't in Idaho.  This state confuses the hell out of me.  No on expandables and electronic nocks cause it is gettin to far away from traditional methods, but we can use sabots and take 200 yd shots at animals with a muzzy.  I know daniel Boone didn't  shoot his that far!  ; )

Personally, I wouldn't shoot at a deer at 200 yards with my ML.  And I do use sabots, but they aren't the limiting factor for me............it is the sights.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Are you using peep sights? Those are a
Little nicer for longer shots.

A patched round ball is technically a sabot (projectile is a smaller diameter than the bore and it is encased in a cloth “sabot”).
