Took a buddy out for the opener. WOW!! I'm so glad I have an archery tag. I have never seen so many people in the mountains with orange on. Not sure if it is always like that during modern deer, never been out during that time.

That really sucks for you guys that hunt modern general season!

I rarely run into other people, even on public ground kn the westside.  I did a 6 mile loop on opening day and the only other guy I saw was at the trailhead going the other way. Did a few more miles an hour east of Seattle today and saw nobody.

 I took a trip east friday to the Methow Valley pumpkin patch, what a zoo. I figured it would be bad again this year with guys looking for non burned areas but it was way worse than I had even imagined. I have never seen so many guys in that area...........ever.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!
