Been a quiet week should of had a triple tonight but the stats didn't line up. Reset the area and added a bunch new snares. Next check in there should be really good. A buddy of mine just got a hot spot permit on a moose and pulled a big cow so I've got the makings of a crazy good new bait pile. Should be a good weekend.

Nice quick entanglement! Can't wait for the weekend, I've got my dad coming up and I've saved a good check for him I think  Keep our fingers crossed I haven't had a double diget K9 day yet this season  :o Knock on wood  :chuckle:

I haven't had my phone on my line for a while but we've been picking up a few fox a week still. I got a really good bait pile going a week ago and picked this nice silver up last night. Didn't get the best pic but he's jet black with white feet and a white tip on his tail.

All my Unit 14 lines been pulled now. Moving up into 13 for a few more weeks of K9s and then 100% muskrats until June!!!

One of the fox I got when pulling, I really liked this set it was going across a frozen swamp with one little tree about 3/4" long. Had a trail passing but it and I attached a 1/16" camloc snare to it over the trail. Good quick wrap up ;)

Shifting gears! With all my fox sets in the valley pulled I'm ready to start hitting the rats! Looks like we are going to see good prices this year! Hearing $8-11 rats? I'd be very happy with that, lol. Anyway my dads up visiting and while I'm at work I've had him working hard on making traps. I use a ton of 110s and #1 & 1.5s but I love colony traps in good runs! Over the next week or so we should be starting to get them set. Our goals 60 colonies out with a hundred or so other traps ;)

The colonies are 6x6x22 or 24 and 8x8x34 with a couple 8x16x34 for good culverts.

Lol just started coaching track this week also. Good thing it's starting to stay light longer every day!!!

Few pics from just setting yesterday evening. Had one before we even left :)

Love this 8x16x34. Huge run that they come out of from under the ice!
