Mature vs not, but nice blacktails

So, took these this morning.  The bucks are starting to cruise as I have not seen this bigger guy before.  He's lucky I'm trying to get a deer with my pistol and with my boy next to me, and that the freezers are mostly full.  Thought this would be a good photo to show body differences even though the mature deer does not have much of a rack.

Which one is the mature one?  Based on antler shape, I would guess the older one is the other's dad.  Note the neck sizes.

Note the bristling hair.      Looks like one is beginning to feel irritated.

One looks like a BUCK the other looks like it could be a doe with horns 

Does he have an injured ear? It looks like his left ear is always pinned back or he can move it.

Doe with horns?  Welcome to the islands....   

Here is another of him, plus the other two this morning.  No probs with the ear.  We had a doe though a few years ago we called Donkey Doe because she never had her ears up, even with the dog several feet away on the other side of the fence.

I can't believe I didn't sneak around the house and shoot him though....
