Finally, to those of you whose dog "just wants to say hi" my dog says "hi" too but lets skip the in field meeting this year.
The point behind the sarcasm was supposed to be aimed at those the don't have common courtesy. I appreciate those people that show common respect, as I try to do. I try not to get in peoples way and stay out of their shooting lanes. I try to let them enjoy their hunt. I will say HI at the parking lot but will leave people alone while they are trying to work their dog. I am not going to try and beat someone to a spot. If they got there first I respect that. Year after year I see people that seem more interested in ruining someone elses hunt than enjoying theirs. That was my aim with the post.
To all those potential hunters that I might run into in Eastern WA this year: I will continue on the course I have set and would feel terrible if a stray pellet ruined your paint job.
I'm with you LiveandLearn... for upland and duck hunters. Even on Public land, if someone is there hunting, move along and find another spot without messing people up. To be honest, I'm a bit suprised that people are arguing that... But I've been suprised by morons in the marsh, woods, and field lots of times...

But I've been suprised by morons in the marsh, woods, and field lots of times...I quit duck hunting for a few years cause I was tires of waking up early to get to a spot only to have someone set up a 100 yards from me and sky bust every bird that went by.I did have some good encounters last year with guys in Starwood, I walked over and talked to them and invited them to join us and we both agree to let the birds work the deeks, I still had a good time watching the birds check the other guys set up and it helped me learn what would work better for me
