Late season deer
« on: October 21, 2012, 12:57:17 PM »
Hi guys, I am new here and this is my first year deer hunting. I have been skunked during the general season, not for a lack of trying. I have put many miles on my boots but have seen anything but a 3 point buck. I am looking forward to late season in a few weeks. Only thing is, i have to go somewhere besides Kittitas county to hunt. I was thinking Packwood area or the like. Any information of that area or areas about that distance from Ellensburg would be great. I am determined to get a deer this year.

Plenty of public ground in packwood I have gone there for the late hunt. There are a lot of hunters but Like everyone else will tell you get off the roads and do some hiking and you should be into animals.
