Wyoming Public land muley
« on: October 21, 2012, 02:35:01 PM »
We usually have access to a private cattle ranch in Wyoming, but due to the extremely dry weather this year he wasn't letting anyone on his property to hunt so we had to do some research to find some public land and it paid off.  Got this guy with one shot from 471 yards with my 270 WSM pushing a 140gr Accubond.

Good looking buck, hard to beat the 270wsm with a 140g accubond.

I cant wait to cash in my muley points.  I have four this year and thought i would wait a couple more years.  I have a connection over there and has told me when i go to cash in just let him know and he would help in any way.  He is a resident and last year went out and found two good bucks.  He followed them both all of archery season but couldnt connect on the big one.  Went out to find them during rifle season but could only find the "smaller" one so he took him.  He told told me that he was a little shocked to find out it scored 193.  Could not imagine what the big one was like.  I cant wait

love your boy next to you a great memory for the campfire stories...and at 471 yards
