« on: October 24, 2012, 07:00:10 PM »
I need a place to hunt Whitail in NE, WA. next month. I am 65 and a very responsible hunter. I am willing to do some swapping or pay a reasonable hunt fee. I have a large Track Loader with Fecon Brush mower. I could trade some brush mowing?? I have grass hay available to trade?? My name is Dick B. I live in Onalaska. 360-508-6150

Thanks for the heads up. I know Dale does hunts up there. I'll think about that but I'm in to doing my own hunt if possible.

He sells do it yourself maps.  Not sure how many people are going to tell you a spot to go hunt, besides "go to forest or public land".  Dale's map will point out an exact location, prescouted.  Worth it, for sure!

Finding a place to hunt is not that hard, get yourself a Colville National Forest map for a few dollars and pick a spot on public land, there will be at least some deer no matter where you go. I would avoid the immediate vicinity of wolf packs because hunters have been reporting less game in some of those areas.

Be prepared for lots of hunters, we get hunters from the whole state during late buck. Get off the beaten path.  :twocents:
