Helped my buddy to kill his first deer (4x3 blackie!)
« on: October 24, 2012, 10:50:20 PM »
So for the last four days we had been working our butts off to get my buddy his first deer. so this morning we set up in different clear cuts, and when it got to be about 10:00am i started to walk down the edge of the clear cut and this guy walked infront of me about 50 yards and went into the reprod . Then i called my buddy and told him to go and walk down a road that ran down the middle of the probably half mile long reprod, as he started walking down the road i started walking into the reprod breaking sticks and as loud as i could in hopes to drive him out. My buddy was walking down the road when he saw a two point looking strait at him in the middle of the road at about 50 yards and right as he got his scope on him he jumped off, then he took a few more steps and this guy walked out right behind the two point stopped and looked at him and my buddy blew his heart in two.

 :) nice
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

If you love something you will set it free, if it don't come home, hunt it down and kill it.
