I cruised the reprod both sides of there Jan and Feb, I was informed by the ranger that all that area is part of the refuge{there are signs} and that collecting sheds was verbotten. Left some dandies on those hills.

Here`s a poor pic of a Wa bull in a no hunting area, I have some video of him in velvet this year shot through the binos as well, very impressive when he picks his head up.

There was an albino there at Jewel a few years ago.  I could never get close enough for a good pic though.  We spend a lot of time there each year on our way to get clams at the beach.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

That's not a motivator that is an effin C tease for those of us that can't make it to the woods this year.

Yes the albino was a yearling cow.  Both times I saw it I only had my small lens.  Went back three more times with my big lens and never saw it again :bash:  There are a lot of blonde ones like in the previous photo.  Always cows though.  But, only ever saw the one albino.  I have heard that they sometimes sell animals from there.  Maybe that albino had a price on it's head. :dunno:
