When I was turkey hunting I kid you not I came across 2 of those in the west fork of the teanaway river

They nest and hang out on rivers from here all the way to Montana. Only duck that migrates East to West :tup:

I was fortunate enough to take 9 in one season before the new regs came out limiting one per year. Mounted 5 of them.  I don't hunt them anymore as they are one of those species that can be wiped out by over hunting.  Beautiful birds!
