I know 400.   I was working off the theory that all the monster whities hide underground until the rut.  I was going after them with my rock pick. :)

I found out that my hunting buddy did not site in his rifle this season. He missed one last week at 90 yards. My kid did a back up shot to nail it down. This week he missed one at 200 yards. Told him to take a shot at a makeshift target. 12 inched left at 100 yards. :bash: Got it fixed... He got one today.

I found out that spending the extra$ 68 on a second deer (antlerless whitetail) tag resulted in a bonus color phase blonde bear and filling my antlerless tag in 3 days.  Now just waiting til Nov. so I can fill a buck deer tag with a whitetail.  Im so stoked!!!! It's been a great season so far.

Found one of those Mexican's goats during Elk season.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

I found that I should stick to bird hunting.
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5
