From the info he is giving you guys I don't see how you can validate to go now, later tonight or tommorrow....  Some situations you are by far better off leaving the animal overnight or at least a couple hours....  I have made the decision to leave animals overnight and almost every time it payed dividend, and was the right thing to do.  But it depends on how u feel the hit was and if there's blood that represents a good shot...  My 2cents, I'm sure he will do the right thing!

I would at least look around for the arrow or some blood before deciding not to look tonight.  If it's raining where you are like it is here you may not find any blood in the morning.  Keep us updated, good luck.

Who cares if the hunter is male or female. Don't take a shot you cant make. I cant stand people that dont know their limits in the woods and then never find the animal they made a poor shot on. I am guessing that she wont find the deer tomorrow or any sign of a wounded deer because the rain will wash everything clean tonight.  I guess she should just chalk it up to a good ol' fashion miss!

The bottomline is a hunter should know their limits and not take a shot that they are unsure of.

I'm really so glad Hunt Wa is full of all seeing all knowing know it alls. Sometimes, it does not pay to go stomping around at night.
