Krackers Homemade Chili ...MAN FOOD!
« on: November 17, 2012, 07:27:25 PM »
...well not sure if I want to post this.. but WTF I'll share, if you cant cook this then better turn in your man card  you can substitute chicken for 1.5 lb of ground beef, ground elk, deer, shredded anything  ID LOVE TO KNOW HOW THIS IS WITH ELK OR DEER!

1-1 chicken rubbed down down with Cayenne pepper, and baked til its done, NOT overcooked dry as it should be juicy perfect. if you use beef cook the ground beef first.

while thats cooking start your chili

-----in a large pot, put it on med heat, and add:
5 cans of diced tomatoes, juice and all dont drain them
1/2 cup of any chili powder
4 cans of kidney beans
1- 6-8.oz small can of el'pato HOT tomato juice
1 onion of choice diced small
1 CAN OF BLACK BEANS -OPTIONAL- BUT ADDS A GREAT FLAVOR
--1 TBSP of garlic powder or 2 large cloves squished up
--1 TBSP pepper, large grain if possible
--1 tsp salt
* * or void the above 3 lines & use garlic salt / garlic pepper if its what ya got * * dont matter flavor is the same

AS SOON AS IT STARTS TO BOIL TURN TO LOW !!!

-when chicken or beef is done strip chicken down to meat, fat, skin, everything but bone, chopped or shredded but shredded is better(we use a ninja)  add to pot and stir in good
-ALSO ADD CHICKEN FAT/GREASE FROM PAN!!
-add about 5 splashes of tobasco sauce, adds a great flavor but not hot

simmer for 2.5-3.5 hours / until kidney beans are done, then EAT

SOMEONE PLEASE COOK THIS AND REVIEW IT, MY FAMILY BEGS ME TO MAKE IT!

thanks kracker, gonna try this, i have always wanted to make a great homemade chili, i have made a few and they were good, but not great, so hopefully this will be the one, have you ever used a large cooked potroast and shredded it up, slow cooked in a light chile cayene sauce?
my grandpa always said "if it aint broke dont fix it"
