Choice of optics has alot to do with the type of hunting you do and the terrain you do it in. For calling coyotes here in western WA, forests or sage country I like a 1.5x6 or 1x4 varialble with them set on the lowest power, to me FOV is everything as alot of my shots are under 20yrds. but I'm very comfortable out to 300 with these scopes. For open country coyotes and smaller targets(gophers/P-dogs) a 4x16 or 6.5x20 wouldn't be out of the question.Plus one on that quote
If you are not in a hurry, Rock River's Hi-Rise scope mount is $50, and just as good as the PEPR mount. I say not in a hurry because RRA is so busy that orders take quite a while to get out.
