Awesome how many geniuses on the first page of responses have everything figured out.

Since that was my first post and I'm not burdened by the cliques and hilarious inside jokes on this blog, I asked a sincere question. My mistake.  I have first-hand reports from guys at Clark's in Colville.  Bearpaw should be able to confirm it, as should anyone at Clark's.  They reportedly pulled a tooth from that deer.

I've seen one that would easily surpass the record.   Came inches from having him on film.   It will haunt me forever.  Spent $500 in gas headed to and fro to look for his sheds.   NOTHING but a memory.   Now all I can do is hope one of his kids shows up, and one might have this year.

Typical or non-typical? If it was typical and easily surpassed the record then it was likely a world record. I have definitely seen some giant typical frames from Stevens County. The thing that always hurts their net score is the non-typical points (not that I would care if I ever killed one of them).

Typical.  I thought it would beat the hanson buck by a MILE.   I was watching a pretty good sized whitetail.  Rattled him in.   Then all of a sudden I see this tree getting hammered, then I see bone, then he takes a swip at the "little" buck.   Seems like I have photos of it on here.    He had the dimensions of the one I posted this year but tines were about 12 inches longer each.   SCARY BIG........

I keep... coming .. back to this... thread  :). I've hunted alot in Stevens county. Wouldn't doubt if there were dozens of world class typicals nontypicals etc over the years. I do think alot of them die of old age before ever being seen by a hunter. Sometimes I'd wish all the trees and brush would disappear for a day or so just so I could see some of those ghosts lurking haha

I am back in town after hunting Montana for the last week. I have to drop off my truck for some badly needed work at the shop today and then maybe I will have time to check out this big buck story.
