yeah I'm not sure what's going on I has hunting last night and expected an update when I got out and he didn't call ... could he have been packin? let's hope so! I'll give him a call.

                                                        Update

Ok Guy's I spoke with Charlie this afternoon and found out the reason he didn't call last night. No he wasn't packing out a bull  But he did have good wind and ended up going after the big 380+ and another bull that's running with him, Apparently they led charlie down in the bottom of a hell hole where he found where they have been hanging out. The place is tore to shreds with rubs and wallows! he ran out of light without getting a shot but had a blast chasing them and by the time he climbed back up top in the dark he still had a 3 1/2 mile hike back to camp. This morning the wind wasn't right so he headed off to another spot and located 2 more nice bulls and one had giant 3rds so he got in close to get a better look and had the cows all around him at 20 yards, he ended up passing a shot at a 320 class bull and his buddie with the big swords and thirds would probably go about 340 but he was too far out for a shot. Also this mornings hunt included a trip back to look for the big 6 he missed yesterday but couldn't find him ... (he's probably in Oregon by now Charlie!)

So it was off to Dayton at mid day to re-fuel and get more ice before this evenings hunt he's gonna try to get in on the big guy's again tonite and he'll give me a call when he get's out.

Sorry about the timing of the updates I'm hunting locally myself right now and I will be leaving tomorrow to get lost up in the hills somewhere myself so I'll do my best to keep you up on things. I'll be talking with him over the weekend and I'll take notes in case no one else updates and I'll do one big post after I get back!
