Come on Charlie, get er done!!!

Those of you who have been talking to him please answer some Q's:

Is he alone down there? If so, is anyone going down to help?

He has been out there for awhile now and probably could use some company/help/support.

Well to answer you questions  Wea300mag:

~He is alone down there
~Don't know about anyone else helping him out I was invited to go down but I had work obligations I couldn't get out of or else I would be there ... Sorry tmike!
Charlie usually hunts alone and I only know of myself and archery288 that were invited by him unless he extended the offer to someone else I am not aware of?
I may still try and weasel time away from work after I shoot an elk this weekend and maybe be there next week. I do know he is camping with Bofire from the site here and a friend of his with a tag for a think dayton? so he has company and they said they would help him if he were to get something down so I think he's OK!

                                                 Evening 9-11 update

OK so now on with the update ... For this evening Charlie was still getting his legs under him from last nights hike out so he decided to go to a new area where he had been told of a nice bull and check it out. Well he decided to just glass and spot to see what was happening in this drainage and sure enough right at 6:00 theres a bugle that comes from the bottom, then the elk come into view and it's the prettiest 6x he's seen yet and in his words for the first time I heard "I found a pig!" Well this guy has 10 cows and if any of you know anything about elk in the blues at a 3-1 cow ratio if a bull has a harem in the double digits "he's a stud!" Charlie said he didn't think there was a tine under 18" and was average on girth so he might be upper 370's maybe pushing the 380 mark, but at any rate he wants him so the plan is to try and figure him out tomorrow.

His wife called before I got to ask him about the big 380 with the crown points and what the heck happend to them so I'll have to wait and ask tomorrow. Also one thing to note tmike and I were at his house the night before he left and I asked him what he was looking for besides the 400" bull of coarse and he said he loves a nice big clean 6x6 over a non typical anyday so it doesn't surprise me that he shot at the 6x and is fixin to go after this 6x in fact tonight he made mention of the raffle bull from last year and how that one sticks in his mind. that will have to do until tomorrow.

Right ON!  Sounds like if anybody can make it happen, its him!  M_Ray, I'm curious, are you telling him about all the support he's gettin from here or are you wanting to keep the pressure off of him.....? lol

It might be good to let him know about all the support he is getting.  I am sure he would think it was pretty cool.

I did tell him you guy's were interested in updates and he just said "really?" kinda like he didn't think anyone would care much untill he got something. I had asked him for permission before I started telling everyone what was going on he thought it was cool!
