130 VLD 1- Coyote -0

Cruising the edge of the orchard this am and we spotted this gal at 291+ yards up hill at about 60 degrees up angle.
 At the shot she rolled down about 30 yards, and piled up.
The 130 hunting VLD left a fist sized hole on the off side shoulder.
I was using my Rbros Rogue action rifle chambered in  6.5x47Lapua, Gemtec can and 130's at about 2950.
As you can see I wasn't dressed for success and it took my fat ass 45 minutes  using hands and feet for the climb :-)

I pulled one of those off last winter in the snow, nice steep hill and this old man was a huffin' and a puffin' by the time I got to the dog. Ain't doing that again

Good shot!  Kind of a dinky bullet for a coyote, isn't it??
