130 VLD 1- Coyote -0
« on: December 22, 2012, 04:55:05 PM »
Cruising the edge of the orchard this am and we spotted this gal at 291+ yards up hill at about 60 degrees up angle.
At the shot she rolled down about 30 yards, and piled up.
The 130 hunting VLD left a fist sized hole on the off side shoulder.
I was using my Rbros Rogue action rifle chambered in  6.5x47Lapua, Gemtec can and 130's at about 2950.
As you can see I wasn't dressed for success and it took my fat ass 45 minutes  using hands and feet for the climb :-)

A view to the truck, I'm thinking "I still have to go back down!?"

for when I post on the black ops web pages.........

It flattened out a little up here:

"I think the shot came from over there"...

Good shootin'  Oh by the way....you need to flip that bolt handle around the other way....it's on the wrong side

Dang rookies
Checkin' wind and makin' smoke.

Good shot!  Kind of a dinky bullet for a coyote, isn't it??  :chuckle:  :chuckle:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
