Scouting around Republic

Has anyone done any scouting around Republic? Namely the area west of Swan Lake RD.

Dad and I were hoping to get over there for a weekend and do some scouting but I do not think its going to happen.

Been bear and grouse hunting there all season. I have seen a few nice animals, mostly bears. Saw a nice 4pt whitetail last week there. In late Aug we saw 3 buck in there that would have scored over 150. If you want to talk more about it or are interested in a certain location mail me I will get back with you.

There are some nice heavy bucks up there, take a camera with you and good luck.

I saw a really big couger in there a couple miles in from town, it was already in the back of a Toyota but it came from there.
