That was a great story guys. Makes me really miss bow hunting. My last two bulls I took with a bow. I hope I have a good story for you this year when I go to fill my big bull tag at the end of next month. I have 9 days to get one. My goal is 320 plus. What do you think your bull scored? Congratts again...
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

No idea what he would score, but I know he has really long tines.  Longest eyeguard is 17 inches!  I would call him a 5x5 but he has a little kicker on one side for a six that is a couple inches long.  What do you think?  I am going to bleach out the skull this week and then I will tape him!  Thanks for all of comments!

Here's a couple more of my buddies!  One sleeping after I drug him up a couple thousand feet in elevation and the other is the one that almost got violated behind the decoy!

Way to go Matt! Sounds like it started slow but you rolled with it and got it done. Great looking bull! :brew:
