Not a real good pic, but here is the one I picked up at GI. Joes a couple of years ago. It was designed to mount to the handle bars, but I removed two bolts from my front rack and installed them there. The rifle has never bounced out and I do not use the rubber band things that come with them.

Use a Koplin Gun boot attached to the rear, keep it inside the width of the ATV, I have taken my Polaris through crap that most would avoid and it has worked perfectly for the past six years.  I haven't used it here because of limited riding??? Atleast wet side.... but recommend avoiding the handle bar mounts, reason had several friends use that style and beat the snot out of their gun with stuff hitting them, one gun broke a stock due to weapon being hung up between trees, ouch! Another rolled his, the gun on the front snapped in half like a twig, the gun in the boot survived without even knocking the scope out of whack.  Photo is proof.....  But if your riding on forest roads then the front probably would work fine...
