I recently had some old 8mm tape put onto DVD from my Dad taken about 1969. The last scene is my Dad (skinny guy) looking up at his B&C blacktail.
The camping equipment has changed, but the traditions stay the same.

We where hunting in Montana and took a drive over to Salmon to get food and met that i guy in front of the store. He still had the magazine. Showed us it and told us stories. Thats all i can remember. Crazy old guy

I'd be willing to bet most of those old boys didn't hike too far eithter .i talked to a old bot south of salmon and he had shot some toads ,

I don't know about that.  I've seen a lot of old black and whites of guys posing behind those toads.  Not a lot of fat guys.... :dunno:

Well most of those ol boys weren't fat because they WORKED for a living and didn't eat McDonald's on their lunch breaks.

It was amazing the places that they could get a "car" though.  They didn't think hiking was "fun" like we do. :chuckle:
