I think I'd go to the Wenatchee area. From there you've got some of the best deer and elk hunting within easy driving distance, and tons of public land to hunt.

Ellensburg was awesome. not the greatest deer hunting in the state but a short drive away. I recently had to move away and miss it everyday.

We moved over to East Wenatchee a few years ago and love it. Have everything we need within an hour's drive but I think we are now filled on our quota of wet side transplants.  :chuckle:

See, even the locals agree!   :chuckle:

I would have said Ellensburg, or even Cle Elum, but the deer numbers are down so much now, if you want to hunt deer you need to be further north.

you don't want to move over here.  The hunting isn't any good and it snows all the time.  Big change from the wetside. :chuckle:

Depending on what you do for a living, I'd be really picky so you'll have work. Colville would be my choice. Everything you want for hunting is in your backyard. Spokane 1 hour away. Idaho about 1/1/2 hours away. ATV riding on all of  Stevens County roads too.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

What you do for a living is the biggest part, get a job first then decide where to live.

Wenatchee area sucks.  Roads are all drifted shut.  No good hunting here.  Arizona looks better--  :chuckle:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
