Big r, they have some ammo and some guns, but not a single .22 or .223 rifle left on the shelf. Clark's still has quite a few guns and cartridges on the shelf.

I just got a new .44Mag and cannot find ammo to go out and play with it? Whats the deal, the goverment isn't talking about banning ammunition and certainly not .44mag ammo (at least not yet!).

Anybody got any suggestions on where to find some around the Seattle area?

Thanks,

H&F

I know my hubby posted earlier today, but for those of you who might have missed it, Big R on Trent (as of about 9:30am) had buckets of Remington 22LR for $59.99. There were still quite a few buckets available, but like I said, that was at 9:30am and as we alllllll know, ammo everywhere is going fast   :yike:

Just in Sportsmans Warehouse (Puyallup) yesterday and they had not a single box of .22LR ammo. Strangest thing I ever saw. Plenty of .22 shorts or .22 magnums but no .22 LR. Bought a few boxes of  .45 Auto and called it good. Back to the loading bench.

To echo Bearpaw's OP, I just got an email (rumor) that ammo is so scarce in the Southeast that some PDs are having a hard time issuing ammo to beat cops for quarterly qualifications. :yike:

This started the day Obumble said the word "gun control"
Glad I'm good for 5-6 years ;)

Gee I was in 3 different hardware stores today and plenty of ammo and guns in all three
Stacks of 223, 22LR, and just about anything you can mention
223 going for $8.00 per 20 round box must of been 30+ boxes Remington 55 grain FMJ at one place
Hornady v max at another

The good is that once people have that much ammo they will not want or vote for gun control as they have an investment in their hobbie.  Crazy times we are living in...

I am hoping it will all get back to normal in a few months.
