Where to find 22lr ammo?
« on: January 18, 2013, 01:11:45 PM »
So I just went to 3 different stores in the marysville area to find some 22lr ammo and they were all out.  Anyone know of any shops that still have some?  Just looking for a few boxes to take the kids out shooting.  Cabelas, nor point and big 5 were out
Thanks for any help

Cabela's?  Walmart Tulalip?  I picked up 450 rounds there about a week ago.

If you can find it anywhere, expect to pay around 9-10 cents per round.

Yup, that's how much things have changed.  The last place I saw that had .22lr was selling boxes of 325 for $30, and there was a limit of 2 boxes per person.  They had 9 boxes when I walked in, and were sold out when I left less than 10 minutes later.

I paid $9.97 per box of 225 shells for the remington gold bullet 36 gr. hollow points at the WallyWorld in Tulalip a week ago.  That's a couple-year supply for me, so I'm not in tune with the current ammo prices.  Thought that was a little high for bulk remington, actually, so I only bought two boxes.  They had a full case when I was in there.  Sounds like it's gone now-

Same here on the East side, Big R has Remmy for 59.99 36gr 1400 in a bucket.  I was there 5 mins talking to someone, 3 people picked up a bucket, one guy grabbed 2. Bet they aren't there this time tomorrow.

I just got home from Kesslerings and they had a bunch of .22lr. Different brands but mainly CCI. The CCI bricks of 500 were $39.99. I almost bought some but that is spendy for sure. Did get 4 AR mags and XDS mags  :IBCOOL:. Got my wife a pink "I love Coffee and Guns" hat. Maybe she won't ask how much I spent today  :chuckle:.

I'm not holding my breath.  :chuckle: Maybe I should have come home with a hammerless .38. I think I have convinced her she needs one.
